Brett Rein Therapy

Brett Rein Therapy provides therapy for teens and adults, with Harley, Brett's own therapy dog, at the heart of both his practice and his brand.

the client

Brett's old logo and website lacked cohesion and were dealing with real technical and accessibility issues on top of it. He wanted a rebrand that felt adventurous and warm, something with a national parks, outdoorsy feel, like being on a journey, while still keeping Harley front and center as the soul of the practice.

the challenge

From our first call, it was clear Brett's vision was rooted in the feeling of a journey, therapy as a path forward, not a fixed destination. I built the brand around that idea, leaning into an outdoorsy, national-park-inspired look (moody mountain scenes, warm earthy tones, badge-style logo elements) while making sure Harley showed up as a real presence throughout, not just a mention. I illustrated her based on real photos Brett shared, so she'd be recognizably her, not a generic dog silhouette, giving the whole brand a personal, lived-in feel instead of something that could belong to any therapy practice with a dog. One of the pivotal moments was the initial moodboard presentation, where Brett said it felt like I'd reached directly into his vision and pulled out something even better than he'd imagined. That set the tone for the rest of the process.

the process

The result is a brand that feels grounded, welcoming, and genuinely adventurous, matching the actual heart of Brett's work as a therapist and Harley's role in it. Brett says he's proud to send people to his new website, and that every detail, from the design to the flow, reflects who he and Harley are.

the outcome

in Brett's words

Working with Nicole was one of the best decisions I made for my practice. From our very first call, she truly got me—my values, my vision, and the kind of space I wanted to create for the people I work with. She took my vision and turned it into something even better: a space that feels grounded, welcoming, and adventurous—all at once. Every detail, from the design to the flow, reflects the heart of my work as a therapist (and Harley’s too!). A standout moment was when she presented the initial moodboard—it was like she had reached into my mind and pulled out something even better than I imagined. That moment set the tone for the whole process: thoughtful, intuitive, and full of creative clarity. My website is beautiful and I am so proud to send people to it!
